Chris Brown Hit-and-Run Dismissed

A California judge dismissed the misdemeanor hit-and-run charge against scandal-prone Chris Brown after he and the driver reached a civil compromise related to an incident where his Range Rover struck a woman’s Mercedes last May. Brown exchanged information with the other driver, but accidentally provided her with incorrect insurance information. The city prosecutor was not happy with the ruling, citing Brown’s felony probation (for assaulting Rihanna) and his subsequent “castigation” of the other driver. According to the attorney, the crooner called the victim a “bitch” following the accident.
