Chris Brown’s Charged Reduced

Chris Brown got a lucky break Monday: the charges stemming from a fight at a Washington, D.C. nightclub in early Sunday morning were reduced from felony assault to misdemeanor. Brown was arrested after allegedly punching a man in a fight outside a Washington hotel, although Brown has maintained he did not strike the man. According to court papers, the man attempted to get in a picture with Brown, who allegedly said “I’m not into gay sh**” and the man reportedly responded “then why you be ho-ing?” Brown allegedly said “I feel like boxing” and then punched the alleged victim. Brown, who is still on probation for beating up Rihanna in 2009, was released on his own recognizance.
