A drone operated by the CIA attacked a target in Yemen on Monday, the same day that the U.S. closed its embassy to the public there. The strike comes just days after the U.S.-backed government in Saana was overthrown by rebels. CNN reports it’s not thought that any major leaders of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula were targeted.
