Two class-action lawsuits have been filed against Ashley Madison, after the social network’s data breach resulted in users’ personal information being exposed online. The two “John Does” filed the suits on behalf of themselves and “all others similarly situated” in U.S. district courts in Texas and California. Among other things, the lawsuits allege that Ashley Madison and parent company Avid Life Media didn’t scrub the information of users who paid the $19 deletion fee, thereby allowing them to be outed in the malicious hack.
