His defense attorney better knock this one out of the park: Roger Clemens pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges of lying to Congress about steroid use. The seven-time Cy Young Award winner faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1.5 million fine on counts of making false statements, perjury, and obstruction of Congress. A conviction is also likely to damage his chances of getting into the Hall of Fame. In 2008, Clemens swore before the House under oath, "Let me be clear. I have never taken steroids or HGH."
