Anderson Cooper apparently had his Twitter account hacked overnight, CNN announced Wednesday. Cooper’s handle called the president a “tool” and a “pathetic loser” in the aftermath of the Senate election in Alabama. CNN tweeted early Wednesday that someone had “gained access” to Cooper’s account. “We’re working with Twitter to secure the account,” it said. Cooper said Wednesday morning that he had “not sent a tweet in days or replied to any tweets.”
