Cold Weather Finally Going Away in March

Some relief for the eastern U.S.

The eastern half of the U.S. will continue to suffer through waves of frigid air from Canada this week, but there is some relief in sight. AccuWeather.com reports that “indications are the pattern will change next week so that the cold is much less severe from the Midwest to the Northeast.” That just means that instead of enduring temperatures 20-30 degrees below normal, temperatures may dip to only ten degrees below normal. Parts of the southern U.S. can even expect highs in the 60s next week.
