Nerves were frayed Thursday morning at the construction site of one of the new World Trade Center towers after a 35-foot steel column fell off a crane and crashed onto a vehicle. The construction site partially shut down after the accident, which involved only one minor injury after a worker slipped and fell while running near the massive beam. The incident occurred at Tower 4 around 10 a.m. and caused the 9/11 memorial and museum to be shut down while police investigated.
