The NBC comedy Community returned Thursday night with two episodes and drew its lowest-rated season premiere to date, with an average of 3.4 million viewers garnering a 1.3 rating among under-50 adults. Community's return to the airwaves came with the involvement of its creator, Dan Harmon. The network's other comedies didn't do too well either—Sean Saves the World and The Michael J. Fox Show averaged a 0.8 rating in the same demographic.
