Police are reportedly mulling criminal charges for the Saturday afternoon killing of a gorilla in order to rescue a 4-year-old boy who fell into its enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo. According to Hamilton County prosecutor Joseph Deters, police have opened an investigation into the incident and will confer with prosecutors to determine whether any parties could be held criminally liable for the death of the 450-pound ape named Haramabe.
