A Cornell University senior was arrested this week and charged with possessing $150,000 worth of heroin, in the second-largest drug bust in Ithaca history. Kerri Lynn Blakinger, 26, was nabbed Sunday morning at a Collegetown parking lot with six ounces of uncut heroin—or about enough for 500 doses, police said. Blakinger has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Blakinger’s arrest comes only weeks after another high-profile Ivy League drug bust at Columbia University, where five students were arrested in another massive drug bust.
