Katie Couric is reportedly negotiating an exit package after less than three years with ABC. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Couric is in the process of closing a deal with Yahoo! Couric will complete the second season of her daytime talk show, the future of which will not be determined until December, after November sweeps ratings are in. Couric’s original Disney-ABC deal was supposedly comprised of $40 million in exchange for two seasons of the daytime show and three years at ABC News, but it’s unclear how much the beloved host will take home if she leaves early.
