America’s first Twitter libel trial has ended—and Courtney Love has come out on top. A jury decided on Friday that the Hole frontwoman did not post a tweet insinuating that her former attorney, Rhonda Holmes, accepted a bribe with a reckless disregard for the truth. Though the jury agreed that the tweet was false and likely injurious to Holmes, it was not convinced that Love didn’t believe it to be true. When asked, “Did Rhonda Holmes prove by clear and convincing evidence that Courtney Love knew it was false or doubted the truth of it?” the jury responded, “No.”
