Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign removed a new ad after discovering one of the actresses starring in it has also appeared in soft-core porn films. The 30-second ad, which launched Thursday and was pulled in the evening, features actress Amy Lindsay. Lindsay has also starred in movies such as “Animal Lust,” “Co-Ed Confidential,” and “Carnal Wishes.” The ad, titled “Conservatives Anonymous,” features a group-therapy session in which conservative voters talk about being fooled by Marco Rubio. Cruz communications director Rick Tyler told Politico she responded to an opening casting call and was not vetted by the casting company. Lindsay later tweeted that she was upset by the decision to pull the ad.
