After Donald Trump’s campaign announced that he would not be participating in the debate on Thursday night, Ted Cruz proposed a one-on-one challenge with him. It would be 90 minutes with no moderators and would take place prior to Monday’s Iowa caucus, according to David Sawyer, the Cruz for President Regional Political Director.
