Customers Knock Cable Company Ratings

BAD PR

Time Warner Cable at bottom.

Customer ratings of cable providers are declining and Time Warner Cable scores the worst. The American Customer Satisfaction Index rates cable providers on a scale of 100 and TWC notched a 51, down five points from last year. Comcast, the nation’s largest cable provider, declined from 60 to 54. According to ACSI researchers, the poor scores are the result of higher prices and generally poor service. “Customers resent being locked into service contracts, and are not happy with what they see as unreliable service, slow broadband Internet speeds, and rising subscription prices,” researchers said.
