A California father has been charged with felony child endangerment after he was accused of throwing his seven-year-old son off of a boat during a harbor cruise. Witnesses say Sloane Briles, 35, was arguing with his girlfriend, and when his son became upset about it Briles threatened to throw him overboard if he didn’t stop crying. Briles maintains that he was “just screwing around” and that he and his son jumped off the boat together for fun.
