Daniel Craig, the highest-paid actor to take on the James Bond franchise’s starring role, reportedly turned down a $99 million offer to play the character for two more movies. Craig pocketed an estimated $55 million for the four Bond films he’s starred in since 2005. The $99 million total would’ve included profit shares, a co-producer position, and endorsements. Craig has told reporters that he’d rather “slash my wrists” than work on another Bond movie.
