Sometimes, hurtling through the air thousands of feet up in a prototype jetpack isn’t enough. Sometimes you have to fly stunt formations with a plane and another guy in a jetpack to really get your kicks.
At least that’s how Yves “Jetman” Rossy sees it. He’s a Swiss pilot who has pioneered the use of a jetpack with carbon-fiber wings. He started out with solo flights, but in this session over the desert outside Dubai he really pushes the envelope.
