Arrested Development star David Cross told amNY that “there are a number” of Jeffrey Tambor’s co-stars “who stand behind him” amid the sexual harassment allegations against the actor and his subsequent departure from Amazon’s Transparent. “I can’t speak for everybody, but I know there are a number of us who stand behind him—from the limited amount we know, we stand behind Jeffrey—and I am one of them,” Cross told the outlet when asked about Tambor’s prospects on Arrested Development’s upcoming fifth season. Cross said he doubted that the accusations would impact Tambor’s work on the popular comedy show. “I think it’s very curious that Amazon didn’t make public the results of their internal investigation,” Cross said, casting doubt on the internal investigation that ousted Tambor from Transparent. “I’m not sure why they would do that. I just know the whole thing is rather curious to me.”
