Has the conservative movement lost one of its former stars? David Frum, a former speechwriter for George W. Bush, was "terminated" Thursday by the prominent conservative think tank the American Enterprise Institute—a move he calls “abrupt and unexpected” in his resignation letter. Frum has been on the outs with the GOP for years, but the straw that broke the camel’s back appears to have been a column he wrote for CNN saying that health care had proven to be a “Waterloo” for Republicans, not for President Obama.
