Wonder what Doc Brown would think of this? DeLorean Motor Co., the makers of the famous Back to the Future "time-traveling" car, announced Wednesday they have started working on retrofitting a completely electric motor to the model used in the 1985 film. Each charge will get you about 70 miles without having to stop for gas. The cars, which should be released in 2013 if all goes well, are estimated to cost $90,000 apiece. The company currently makes about eight to 10 DeLoreans with gasoline engines that are priced at $57,500.
