Dems Want to Push Bill Through House

HEALTH CARE

Scrambling for a backup plan.

The White House is preparing to ask House Democrats to approve the Senate version of the health-care reform bill, in case Republicans win the Massachusetts special election Tuesday, The New York Times reports. Bart Stupak (D-MI) said he doesn't think the Senate bill will pass the House.
