Designer cupcakes: Fashion takes to the sweets

The best way to be the proud owner of a designer item without taking out a second mortgage used to be picking up a pair of Dior sunglasses or some Chanel perfume, but there might be an even easier way than that: Fashion cupcakes! Okay, Marc Jacobs didn’t design any of these himself, but at least they look delicious. Swedish photographer Therese Aldgard and stylist Lisa Edsalv teamed up to create five different cupcakes inspired by Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Agent Provocateur, Christian Louboutin and Betsey Johnson. The Louboutins are made of red velvet, of course, and the Agent Provocateurs look…suggestive. No word yet on whether these will be available for purchase.
