Just give up already. On Wednesday, court documents were released describing a video of Toronto mayor Rob Ford “consuming what appears to be a narcotic [crack cocaine].” The video, recorded by alleged gang member Mohamed Siad surfaced last May, but it has not been released to the public. The documents describe Ford "holding what appears to be a glass cylinder in one hand and a lighter in the other hand while engaged in conversation with individual(s) off camera." He then holds the glass cylinder to his mouth, lights up, and inhales. At one point, Ford "briefly points at the camera and asks if it’s on." After the tape's discovery, Ford was stripped of most of his powers. He has since refused to resign and is seeking re-election.
