Ariel Castro may not have ended his life on purpose after all. Ohio officials say the Cleveland kidnapper was found hanging in his cell with his underwear around his ankles, leading them to consider death by autoerotic asphyxiation, a way of intensifying orgasm during masturbation by depriving the body of oxygen. Castro left no suicide note; officials found him with pictures of his family out and a Bible open to the Gospel of John. A new report says prison guards failed to properly make the rounds the night Castro died, and that he was not en route to the hospital until an hour after he was found hanged.
