What compels people to do crazy life-threatening stunts? In the case of Glen Dell, he chose to be an aerobatic pilot because of the feeling of freedom he had when he got into the cockpit of a plane.
In 2013, Dell took part in a stunt in which pro dirtbike rider Nick de Wit would backflip his bike over Dell’s plane as he flew just mere feet above the ground. The video below is the behind the scenes of the jump, as well as its flawless execution.
Sadly, Dell was killed five weeks after performing this stunt, fatally injured in a different performance. This video of one of his last, and most impressive, stunts was released as a tribute to his memory.
