Despite the absence of tennis champs Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, the Australian Open had a show of its own as Novak Djokovic nabbed the title against Andy Murray. Djokovic won 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 against Murray, who fought off several break points, but was no match for the 23-year-old's defense. During his second title win Djokovic was able to predict Murray's hits and use his elastic leg work to lob the ball back. He came to a 5-0 lead in the second set but Murray quickly won the next two games. Djokovic dominated the court and moved up two more sets. In the fourth game, the two players hit a series of deuces until Djokovic's backhand led him 3-1 and eventually won the final three games of the match.
