DNC Chair: Huckabee 'Irrelevant'

Last night, during his speech at the RNC, one-time presidential candidate Mike Huckabee referred to Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Shultz as an "awful noise." It was a cringeworthy comment but Wasserman-Shultz wasn't surprised to hear it and rationalized on CNN Thursday that Huckabee is "unfamiliar with the voice of a strong woman." She noted that Huckabee was one of few Republicans to stand by Rep.Todd Akin after he insisted that women were unable to get pregnant through "legitimate rape." If face-to-face with Huck, Wasserman-Shultz said, "I would ignore him, because he's irrelevant."
