According to Fox News, the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday filed an arrest warrant for Jose Inez Garcia Zarate, the undocumented immigrant acquitted in Kate Steinle’s murder. After the jury acquitted Zarate on homicide charges late Wednesday, President Trump slammed the verdict as “disgraceful” and the Justice Department reportedly began weighing federal charges.
