If Jon Stewart won’t grill Donald Rumsfeld, who will? The Daily Show host kept things cordial with the former defense secretary on his show Wednesday night. He opened with a joke that even Rumsfeld could laugh at: “I think I know why you’re here,” Stewart said. “And let me just deflate the tension right off the bat: Apology accepted.” After the show, Rumsfeld tweeted that Stewart’s interview was “one of the most thoughtful interviews of book tour.”
