Huh? After suspending Newt Gingrich as a contributor before he’d even announced his run for president, Fox News is adding a declared candidate to its lineup: Donald Trump. The Donald has been given a Monday morning segment on Fox & Friends that will be called “Monday Mornings with Trump.” “Bold, brash and never bashful, The Donald now makes his voice loud and clear every Monday on Fox," a promo says. Fox has received criticism for hiring so many potential GOP presidential candidates as contributors, and its policy continues to be bizarre: Fox suspended Gingrich and Rick Santorum, but continues to employ Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin, who are both known to be considering presidential runs.
