This one wins the today’s you’ve-got-to-be-kidding award: pollsters Patrick Caddell and Douglas Schoen are back in The Wall Street Journal, arguing that President Obama should realize he's doomed and nominate Hillary Clinton as his replacement: “He should abandon his candidacy for re-election in favor of a clear alternative, one capable not only of saving the Democratic Party, but more important, of governing effectively.” The Daily Beast's Andrew Sullivan responds, "Who, outside of Fox News contributors, genuinely believes that the polarization we are now experiencing is a direct result of President Obama rather than the Republicans?"
