South Africa has been rushing to rescue dozens of gold miners who became trapped underground after illegally working in an abandoned pit outside of Johannesburg that collapsed on them. Authorities believe there are about 30 miners at the top of the shaft, but 200 other miners may be trapped further down. They are believed to have been trapped since Saturday morning. 11 miners have been rescued so far, and more are on their way up.
