They tried to make him go to rehab, and now Ted Williams said yes. Dr. Phil McGraw said Wednesday that the homeless man offered a job by the NBA will be entering a rehab facility. Williams was arrested Monday after an alleged confrontation with his recently reunited daughter Monday night in Los Angeles, and he admitted on Today that he had an “alcohol problem early.” McGraw said Williams agreed to go to rehab after a “lengthy one-on-one” discussion on Dr. Phil, where Williams will be a guest this week. Williams, who rose to fame after a YouTube video captured his perfect radio voice, may not have been ready for the spotlight: He has a rap sheet that includes theft, robbery, forgery, and drug possession.
