All I want for Christmas is a drone. American companies are trying to infiltrate U.S. markets with drone technology. The move comes as defense budgets are shrinking, and firms want to sell the technology to universities, the police, and border patrol companies. The FAA is looking for test sites to see if drones can coexist with commercial planes in American airspace—and they expect to increase drone use by 2015.
