Dallas nurse Nina Pham, who recovered from Ebola after being infected by the first U.S. patient with the virus, met with President Barack Obama on Friday in the Oval Office. Pham’s recovery status was disclosed by the National Institutes of Health on Friday morning. “I feel fortunate and blessed to be standing here today,” Pham told reporters. “I know that it may be a while before I have my strength back so with gratitude and respect… I ask for my privacy and my family’s privacy.”
