Where in the world is NSA leaker Edward Snowden? Still holed up in a Moscow airport, waiting to see where he can find asylum. Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa said on Sunday that his country can’t consider a request for asylum unless Snowden makes it to Ecuador or the embassy in Moscow. That might be difficult given that Russian authorities, who have rejected the U.S. request to extradite Snowden, aren't really allowing him to leave the airport. Russia has said Snowden should pick a destination and depart as soon as possible. Which is also easier said than done. Several other countries have refused to host Snowden, whose passport was revoked, under mounting pressure from Washington, D.C.
