What those poor kids must be going through. Disgraced ex-senator and presidential candidate John Edwards has reportedly asked his mistress, Rielle Hunter, to move in with him at his palatial North Carolina home, according to the National Enquirer, which broke the love-child scandal in 2008. Apparently, Edwards is desperately trying to make peace with Hunter so she won’t testify against him in his criminal trial, due to start in February. John Edwards already lives with his kids Emma Claire, 13, and Jack, 11—children of his late wife, Elizabeth, who died of cancer. She’s reportedly considering the move, according to the Enquirer, even though she left him in June after he proposed to her while reportedly crying, “I don’t want to go to jail.”
