Egypt Clashes Rage for Third Day

For a third straight day, Egypt's security forces and pro-democracy protesters clashed in the streets. At least 10 people have been killed since the violence began on Friday, with at least 500 injured, health ministry spokesman Hisham Sheeha said. There were also reports that protesters captured an army officer and beat him, considering whether to swap him for a demonstrator who had been arrested by the military. Sheeha said two children, ages 12 and 14, were killed in Cairo, and two others died from skull fractures caused by cement blocks. Six people were killed by live ammunition, even though Prime Minister Kamal Ganzouri denied that live fire was used by his forces.
