Elizabeth Edwards: Kids Will Go to John

Things might not be as nasty between the Edwards as reports suggest: Elizabeth Edwards emphatically denied reports that she wanted her eldest daughter to assume custody of her two younger children—rather than John and possibly mistress Rielle Hunter—if she dies. Despite battling terminal breast cancer, Edwards denied the New York Daily News' report that she had taken a turn for the worse, and her sister said Elizabeth is "healthy right now." Elizabeth said Cate, 28, would only get custody of Emma Claire, 12, and Jack, 10, should something happen to John. Elizabeth filed for divorce from her husband in January after he admitted to fathering a child with Hunter.
