It seems fitting that the actress who played the smarty-pants of Hogwarts should earn a real-life degree from an Ivy League institution. On Sunday, Emma Watson graduated from Brown University and tweeted out a cap and gown selfie. Sure, it took the Harry Potter series actress slightly longer to graduate (five as opposed to the traditional four years), but give Hermione a break. She was busy making The Bling Ring and other films, and she managed to squeeze in studying at Oxford University. Now, Watson joins the legions of liberal arts students who have made the oh-so-practical choice of earning a degree in English literature, but she may have a few more career options to fall back on.
