Planned to sell secrets to China.

A former employee for the Energy Department has been indicted for attempting to access the agency’s computer system in order to obtain and sell nuclear secrets to China, according to U.S. officials. It is being classified as a cyberattack. Charles Harvey Eccleston, who worked for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, has been living in the Philippines since 2011 and had previously targets more than 80 department employees with malicious software that could extract sensitive material.
