The Environmental Protection Agency issued another notice to Volkswagen on Monday alleging that a whole new crop of vehicles violated the agency’s emissions standards. This new allegation focuses on six-cylinder diesel vehicles, which the EPA claims also had software installed that circumvents emission testing. The “defeat device” was also found in four-cylinder diesel engines as part of September complaint from the EPA.
