ESPN Pulls Hank Williams Song

Hank Williams Jr. sure isn’t ready for some football. ESPN announced Monday that it would pull Williams’s intro song from Monday Night Football after he compared President Obama with Adolf Hitler. The controversial comments came in an interview Monday morning on Fox and Friends, when Williams said that Obama playing golf with Speaker John Boehner would be like “Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu.” He then said that “they” (Obama and Joe Biden) were the enemy. ESPN released a statement saying that they were disappointed with his statement. It remains to be seen whether the song will return to the broadcast next week. Williams has since said that he was misunderstood because of his "strong opinions."
