ESPN Without Cable Coming for $20

Thanks to Dish’s Sling TV.

Boom goes the dynamite, cord-cutters! You’ll be able to stream ESPN along with Food Network, CNN, the Travel Channel, and other cable stations without buying into a cable-TV package. Dish announced Monday that it will “soon” release Sling TV, which will allow sports nuts and cable TV addicts to watch television on the Web for $20 a month. The news is significant because it removes one of the best reasons to keep paying for a cable bundle: live sports.
