EU Lawmaker: Women Are Dumber Than Men

A member of European Parliament declared on Friday that it is a myth that women and men are intellectual equals. Janusz Korwin-Mikke of Poland said that it is a “20th-century stereotype that women have the same intellectual potential as men,” adding that this perception “must be destroyed because it is not true.” Earlier in the week, Korwin-Mikke declared that “women must earn less than men because they are weaker, they are smaller, they are less intelligent.” The president of the European Parliament has since ordered a probe into the comments. Korwin-Mikke once compared the European Union to the Third Reich, and in 2015 he gave a Nazi salute to advance a political point while speaking in the legislative body.
