It’s like a very sophisticated scavenger hunt. The European Union is conducting a security sweep of its buildings after reports of U.S. spying. The German magazine Der Spiegel reported that EU offices in Belgium and the United States have been bugged. The EU, understandably, is pretty ticked off. France’s President François Hollande has said that a major trade deal might be in limbo if the reports are true. Meanwhile, Secretary of State John Kerry said that he’d look into it.
