Who said regulators don’t follow through? On Wednesday, European antitrust officials are expected to levy a large fine on Microsoft for failing to comply with the terms of an antitrust settlement reached in 2009. The EU has accused Microsoft of restricting users’ choice of Internet browsers. This would be the first time the EU has fined a company for failing to comply with settlement terms.
