Louisiana's ex-convict, ex-reality star, ex-governor and ex-congressman wants one of his old jobs back. Edwin W. Edwards announced his upcoming run for Congress on Monday, in an attempt to gain his second stint in the House after serving three terms there in the '60s and early '70s. During his 1983 gubernatorial run, he infamously said: “The only way I can lose this election is if I’m caught in bed with either a dead girl or a live boy.” The 86-year-old pol was released from federal prison following a conviction for extortion and bribery in 2011. He went on to marry his third wife, have his fifth child, and briefly star in an A&E reality show called The Governor's Wife.
